Shot 51: Sport

We all play at sport, though not all of us play sports. Sports seem to be just as a frequent in photography as animals. There's even an entire magazine dedicated to them. They are chuck full of action, raw expression and emotion, and show off the potential of human strength, agility, and endurance. While flattering and a spectacle, not all of us are fans. We'd much sooner play a prank or two as sport rather and engage in a game of football. Whichever your preference, be a good sport.

Breaking The Rules!!

A little disclaimer!! NO he did not drive anywhere, that is the dumbest (or one of the dumbest) things you could ever do! I was having a hard time figuring this one out, so I had my brother grab a bottle and my car keys, and here we go!

Breaking the Rules

B/c apparently Japanese people love to park their bikes wherever they please! ((Yanaka, Tokyo))

Shot 50: Breaking The Rules

(This is the half way point. It's all down hill from here.)

Who would break the rules? Certainly, not I... Yeah right. We've all broken the rules at some point in out life. Switching the chess pieces, sneaking through the red light when no one was there, swiping a cookie before dinner, just to name a few of the more mild crimes. Despite the disapproval it predominantly receives, it seems like a fun topic. Thing is, how do you capture a moment that is usually intended not to be captured? Break that rule.

Preservatives

This is just one of those little nick knacks that has always been in our house. And now that I think about it, my mom has a lot of little bunny ceramics. These little treasures hold a lot of memories and good feelings for me, and I feel they work well for this post.

Preservatives

Left overs from the Hozuki Fair. I'm gonna dry out a flower and sneak the seeds into America! Buwahahahaha!! ((Hozuki Fair is in Asakasa and this pic was taken on Mat's bed))

Shot 49: Preservatives

Let me guess... Jellies? Mason jars? Peaches in Aunt Tilly's larder. Try to work around these if possible. Granted, they can make a nice photo, but think of what else we have a tendency to preserve, with what, and by what means? Old records that you wouldn't be caught listening to outside of your room. Yellowed love letters from your first date. Pressed flowers from a holiday trip to the country. Magazine clippings, ticket stubs, sea shells... Preserve and cherish.
