Shot 31: Flower

They say that the earth laughs in flowers. Flowers are the sweetest things God ever made, and forgot to put a soul into. To be overcome by the fragrance of flowers is a delectable form of defeat. Flowers have an expression of countenance as much as people or animals. Some seem to smile; some have a sad expression; some are pensive and diffident; others again are plain, honest and upright. But it is people that are the true flowers of live, and it has been a most exquisite pleasure to have temporarily strolled through your garden.
